PETE’S SUNDAY MORNING CONFESSION

It was the 9:00 o’clock hour on Sunday Morning, the 5th of February. Former South Bend mayor and current Transportation Secretary in the Biden Cabinet Pete Buttigieg¹ appeared on NBC’s Meet the Press for a discussion with host Chuck Todd. There was mention of the Chinese “weather balloon” that crossed the nation before being shot down off the South Carolina coast. Arguably, there was some remote relevance of the balloon story to domestic air travel, particularly when the Air Force was preparing to fire a missile in domestic air space. Having commented on how the high-altitude balloon would have been seen (though not identified) by many on the ground, Chuck Todd asked about UFOs and civil aviation. Part of the Secretary’s response was that there are “things that you can talk about and things that you can’t.” WHAT? WHAT? Here was Pete’s inadvertent admission that the government has UFO knowledge that is kept secret from you and me. Mr. Todd did not follow up by asking the nature of that which cannot be discussed.

Can you think of any reason that information available to Pete Buttigieg should be withheld from you and me? Probably without meaning to do so, Pete Buttigieg confirmed his knowledge of (UFO) “things” that cannot be talked about. The observation of the CLB is that among all of the sources of UFO information out there, our federal government earns recognition as the least credible.

¹ In addition to being a former mayor of South Bend, Pete is also a former resident of South Bend. He is now a resident of Michigan, where he may or may not pursue political ambition.
